Why We Give: Bazan Roofing

Picture

Forty years ago, Jorge Bazán founded Bazan Roofing, which has since grown into a full-service firm specializing in both residential and commercial roofing services. While running the business keeps Jorge busy, he makes time for things he cares about, such as giving back to his community, including Habitat for Humanity and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas.

Jorge’s wife, Norma, who joined Legal Aid in 2018 as a supervising attorney in the family law unit, shares this spirit of giving back. Since 2004, both Jorge and Norma have supported access to justice for low-income Texans with their time, talent, and treasure. Although Norma no longer works at Legal Aid, she and Jorge continue their support as key sponsors of Legal Aid’s virtual trivia fundraiser.

Trivia Night 2023 is a virtual event pitting teams of contestants in a test of knowledge. The event also features a wine pull and drawings for valuable prizes including 80,000 award miles donated by American Airlines.
