Spring Break Interns Volunteer To Help Legal Aid Clients

Picture

Special thanks to all 15 of our Spring Break intern volunteers for their service and assistance. The students—from SMU Dedman School of Law, the University of Texas School of Law, Texas A&M University School of Law, and Texas Tech University School of Law—mainly worked virtually, but a few were able to attend court hearings with their Legal Aid attorney mentors.

Big thanks to the Texas Access to Justice Commission (TAJC) for organizing this effort and supporting the work of legal service organizations across Texas. Legal Aid has participated in the TAJC Spring Break Intern Program since its inception in 2013.

Shown: Several of the students participated in an informal online meeting to chat about their experience with Director of Litigation Tom Stutz.
