The 2022 Women's Advocacy Awards, held June 14 at The Arts District Mansion, was attended by 230 friends and supporters who helped us raise $182,854, a new record for the annual event.  This was WAA's 22nd year and was its first in-person celebration since 2019. Emcee Morgan Young did a superb job as did our many program speakers and award recipients.  A highlight of the evening was our special guest and honoree, Harriet Miers, a leading light for many women in the legal profession during her long and distinguished career. Harriet blazed the trail for other women who  followed her, serving as the first female Dallas Bar Association president and the first female State Bar of Texas president.
