Special Award to Bill Marple
Bill Marple, Legal Aid’s former Pro Bono and Bar Relations Director, was honored for his contributions to “Justice for All” and his myriad efforts on behalf of pro bono service during the Dallas Bar Association’s Pro Bono Awards luncheon in October. Bill, who recently retired from Legal Aid after 10 years of service, was introduced by Legal Aid’s CEO Maria Thomas-Jones, who highlighted his achievements including fostering Legal Aid’s robust pro bono program, and establishing and growing meaningful collaborations with local bar associations, the Texas Access to Justice Foundation, and the Texas Access to Justice Commission. Thanks, Bill, for all you have done and continue to do in the interest of access to justice.
